THE city of Talisay, in partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), successfully kicked off the three-day Asenso Talisay Financial Literacy Caravan at the Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School, Inicencio V. Ferrer Memorial School of Fisheries and Notre Dame of Talisay from March 25 to 27, 2025.
THE city of Talisay , in partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas , successfully kicked off the three-day Asenso Talisay Financial Literacy Caravan at the Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School, Inicencio V. Ferrer Memorial School of Fisheries and Notre Dame of Talisay from March 25 to 27, 2025. The event aimed to equip over 2,000 students and stakeholders with essential knowledge on financial management, digital payment systems and investment protection.
Lynna Joy Cardinal, provincial director from the Department of Trade and Industry-Negros Occidental, expressed her support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of financial literacy in driving inclusive growth and development.
