Sydney's Taronga Zoo has welcomed the birth of an adorable koala joey named Sky. 9News
joey named Sky. The joey is estimated to be eight months old and was born to parents Storm and Wattle.
Sky has reached many milestones since his birth. The little koala has already progressed from sitting in his mum's pouch to hitching a ride on her back. The baby koala has also expanded his palette by snacking on solid eucalyptus leaves. However, his current favourite snack is milk from his mum's pouch. A few weeks before they move to solid leaves, they snack on what's known as pap, which acts as a training diet to help the joey transition to eucalyptus leaves.
