SWS: 3 out of 4 Filipinos say Congress should renew ABSCBNfranchise
Three out of 4 Filipinos want Congress to renew ABS-CBN’s broadcast franchise, an SWS survey conducted last week and posted on its website Saturday showed.
According to the poll, 57% “strongly agree” that the network should be granted the franchise, while 19% “somewhat agree.”The survey was conducted between July 3 to 6. The poll results came a day after the House committee on legislative franchisees voted 70-11 to deny ABS-CBN’s franchise application.
