Super Typhoon Mawar reached its estimated peak intensity and may enter the country's weather monitoring area within 24 hours, the state weather bureau reported Friday.
The super typhoon will be tagged as"Betty" once it enters the country's monitoring area by Friday night or early Saturday morning.
