Siwon of Super Junior had tested positive for COVID-19 and he would not be able to participate in the group’s Manila concert, Label SJ announced on Wednesday.
According to an English translation, Siwon tested positive following a PCR test “while preparing for overseas schedules.”
“So we ask for your understanding that [he] can’t participate in the [Super Junior World Tour – Super Show 9 : Road In Manila] concert that was scheduled this week,” the record label said. It added that Siwon halted all his schedules and was in self-quarantine according to authority guidelines.
