After two years of virtual shows, the music festival, formerly known as the Kiwanis Music Festival returns to in person March 25 to April 5
Sudbury Music Festival will be returning live next year, after two years of precautions have limited the festival to online only. Formerly the Kiwanis Music Festival, you can enjoy the sounds of Sudbury from March 25 to April 5, 2023.
"Louis and the organizing board have been working for the past several months to ensure Sudbury and area music students have a chance to perform and compete as they have over the past 76 years," said festival board chair Ralph McIntosh. "After two challenging yet successful years, we are all looking forward to the return of a live, in-person festival."All relevant information, including the 2023 syllabus, will be available at SudburyMusicFestival.ca starting on Nov. 1.
The return of an in-person festival will also require the support of community volunteers to assist with the supervision of the various festival activities, states a press release from the festival organizers.
