The P1.1-billion submarine cable project of the Northern Davao Electric Cooperative Inc. is expected to stabilize the power supply in the Island Garden City of Samal .
The submarine cable will be transported possibly by September. Transportation of the cables will take three months. The 14.7-kilometer submarine cable, which will have a carrying capacity of 50 megawatts , will connect Barangay Aundanao in IGaCoS to the Pantukan grid in Pantukan, Davao de Oro.
