Students and teachers will be given a 50 percent discount for tickets to the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup that the Philippines will host from August 25 to September 2, 2023.
This was announced by Commission on Higher Education Chairman J. Prospero de Vera 3rd on Friday, August 18.'Sa ngalan ng Commission on Higher Education, iniimbitahan ko po and ating mga guro at mag-aaral sa lahat ng antas na manood ng FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 na gaganapin ngayong August 25 hanggang September 2, , ' de Vera said.
The 50 percent discount applies to the opening ceremony on August 25 which will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, as well as selected games from August 26 to September 2 in the premium upper box, regular upper box, and general admission categories.To qualify for the discount, a valid school ID for students and a Professional Regulations Commission ID for teachers must be presented at any TicketNet or SM Tickets outlets.
