Wyn Starks is taking on a life of love and passion in music. The voice behind the official soundtrack “Who I Am.” for Celine Dion’s movie—” I Am: Celine Dion”. Wyn takes on a heartfelt dive into his music.
The R&B superstar is ready to take on the spark in music and make it ablaze by going forward with creating marvelous music.After reaching a peak global success with his song “Who I Am”.” Wyn shared in an exclusive interview with the SoundStrip how he came about internalizing and coming up with the message of the song—saying it has to do something about truly accepting oneself.
“When I was 13, I finally got the courage to sing a solo at a church service. The way the congregation responded, the feeling of connection and emotion, was something I knew I wanted to experience for the rest of my life,” he then added. Wyn told SoundStrip that his favorite songs are the classics “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson and “I Believe in You and Me” by Whitney Houston—which he said he loves the most.
“Their ability to convey deep emotion through their music inspired me as an artist and a vocalist. I wish I would’ve gotten to see Whitney live, and I definitely hope to meet and work with some of the other artists who have inspired me and my music,” Wyn said.Wyn still has dreams to reach and to conquer but far from that, his journey has already come a long way. More eager and excited he is striving to create more inspirational music for his listeners.
