The new show, a multi-part series, explores the 47-year-old celebrity athlete’s beginnings, starting from a working-class household in East London, and his drive to become one of the most recognizable and influential athletes of all time. It will feature a mixture of never-before-seen personal archive footage from the last 40 years and present moments of the athlete’s life, alongside interviews with his family, friends, and football figures who played a significant role in his journey to stardom.

Beckham’s Studio 99 will produce the docuseries with Battesk’s Ventureland, while the creative team includes Chris King, Bjorn Johnson, and Timm Cragg at the helm.
