PARIS: 'Star Wars Outlaws,' an eagerly awaited video game derived from the movie culture phenomenon, will be released August 30, French game-maker Ubisoft announced Tuesday.Developed with Stars Wars creator George Lucas' LucasFilm company, 'Star Wars Outlaws' plunges gamers into the skin of Kay Vess, an outlaw operating in the heart of the Empire's underworld.
'As you travel the galaxy, you'll encounter a range of syndicates and you'll take on jobs for them which can impact your reputation both positively and negatively,' narrative director Navid Khavari said in a blog post.The action is set in the period between 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'The Return of the Jedi'.A trailer released Tuesday shows the re-appearance of classic 'Star Wars' characters, including Jabba the Hutt and the droid C-3PO.
