With Malik Henry out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon, the Stamps are fortunate a guy like Michel was available and willing to return to the CFL. They could definitely use him on Friday, although GM/head coach Dave Dickenson insisted a little caution was necessary. “He’s working hard but when you get a new athlete or a new player, he’s got a lot of things to do,” Dickenson said. “He’s got to travel in, do his impact and concussion tests, go through his physical, so he’s had a lot on his plate. I thought he competed hard and is trying to get better. We’ll see how much we can get into his brain and see if he’s capable of playing.Article content
