“Pancake breakfasts symbolize the importance of community spirit and the Calgary Stampede is honoured to be a gathering place for the community to enjoy the beloved pancake breakfast,” the organization said.
On Tuesday, Alberta NDP leader Rachel Notley invited everyone to the party’s annual pancake breakfast. Hundreds checked out the event at the Meadowlark Park Community Association, which in addition to pancakes featured entertainment, face painting and balloon animals for kids.Article content
