Stampede brief: Five days in, a look back and forward at the 2023 Calgary Stampede yyc
The brave at heart can attempt to ride the bull on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but there’s another giant attraction at the site: The famous Cheetos statue is in town. Towering more than five metres in the air, the statue shows a thumb and two fingers — covered in Cheetos’ dust — holding a Cheetos Puff. Frito-Lay Canada and Pepsico Foods reps had placed the statue in the Alberta hamlet of Cheadle last year, as a nod to its Cheetos-sounding name.
