The World’s Best Snowmobile Destination campaign driving visitors to Northern Ontario
As Northern Ontario continues to dominate the Ontario snowmobile scene with consistent snow, low temperatures, high quality grooming and trail-side hospitality, there are efforts underway to make it even better.
Destination Northern Ontario and its funding partners recognized snowmobiling as a core winter tourism product and are supporting snowmobile product development, refinement, and marketing for the next three years. The ultimate goal of the World’s Best Snowmobile Destination is to create the highest quality, most memorable snowmobile experience possible for visitors.
The future for the World's Best Snowmobile Destination in Northern Ontario looks promising. Snowmobiling is a beloved winter activity, and as long as the destination continues to provide excellent trails, services, and facilities, it's likely to remain a popular destination for snowmobilers. Additionally, many local businesses, such as hotels, restaurants, and gas stations, rely on the snowmobiling season to drive sales. It is a region where trails can open as early as the middle of December and close two weeks into April in some areas. Being known as the World's Best Snowmobile Destination could attract even more tourists to the region, providing a boost to the local economy.
