Waiting for the all-new Suzuki Celerio? You probably won’t have to wait that long. Sent straight into our inbox, someone snapped Suzuki’s entry-level hatchback landing at the Batangas Port., the Celerio dons a more organic design. Suzuki calls it, “3D organic” and you can see it in the sweeping front headlights and the new signature grille. The Philippine variant also appears to sport front fog lamps and black 15-inch alloy wheels which point to it being well-equipped.
Comfort and convenience features found in the global 2022 Celerio include a segment-first push-start system, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats. These features, hopefully make it into the Philippine model. It must be noted that for the Indian market, the Celerio features the brand’s K10C engine. The 998-cc 3-cylinder engine has the Dual Jet technology and coupled with dual variable valve timing and a segment-first idle start-stop, it offers up to 26.68 km/L.
