MANILA, Philippines: AS Typhoon Aghon blew out of the country, another weather system – the southwesterly windflow – is expected to dump moderate to heavy rains in some areas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Wednesday.

Aghon is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility this morning or afternoon.
The same weather system would also bring occasional gusty conditions in the next three days in areas especially in coastal and upland/mountainous localities exposed to winds, it added.'The typhoon is forecast to enter a period of weakening by Thursday as it begins to interact with the mid-latitude environment and undergo post-tropical transition,' the weather bureau said.
