A robbery attempt in a South Korean bank turned out to be more comical than threatening when the suspect's weapon was revealed to be a dinosaur-shaped water gun. Despite the unusual nature of his 'gun,' the suspect managed to intimidate bank staff and customers, demanding 50,000 won before a courageous bystander intervened.

Panic gripped bank staff and customers in Gijang, Busan, South Korea , when a man armed with a 'gun' concealed in a black plastic bag robbed the establishment. However, the supposed weapon turned out to be a dinosaur-shaped water gun . A video from GMA Integrated Newsfeed shows the suspect, wearing a mask and a jacket, entering the bank with an attache case. Within seconds, he declared a robbery, pointing the object at the people inside.

Failing to access the manager's office due to a locked door, he ordered the bank staff to fill his bag with money. His ransom amounted to 50,000 won, equivalent to over 2,000 Philippine pesos. As he forced the people to kneel, one brave individual seized the opportunity and tackled the suspect, bringing him down. The crowd then swarmed the suspect until the police arrived. Upon inspecting the suspect's 'gun', authorities discovered it was merely a dinosaur-shaped water gun. 'People might find it clumsy or even humorous that a water gun was inside the plastic bag. But at the time, the situation was extremely serious and frightening, leaving women employees and customers in fear,' stated a bank official. The 30-year-old suspect is now in police custody. However, authorities have yet to disclose the motive behind the robbery. The police are expected to recognize the bravery of the man who took down the suspect. -- FRJ, GMA Integrated New
