As you would expect from a premium pair of Sony headphones, it also supports Sony LDAC codec as well as Sony’s DSEE Extreme function which upscales your music playback to Hi-Res audio. It also features 360 Reality Audio Certification for an immersive music experience. The Sony WH-1000XM5 is rated to last up to 30 hours of music playback on a single charge and you can get 3 hours of usage with just 3 minutes of charging via a USB-C PD power adapter. Each unit comes with a soft body collapsible carrying case and a 1.2-metre headphone cable with a gold-plated L-shaped plug.
