Sony Malaysia today has launched the latest addition to its WF entry-level earbuds for the local market with the new
WF-C700N. As with prior products from the same line, it also offers a lightweight and wireless in-ear listening experience with touch-based controls at an affordable price point. It’s also worth noting that this particular model is the first from the series to come with Noise Cancelling and Ambient Sound Mode features., featuring a sleeker overall shape and circular microphone modules on each side. It’s also lightweight, coming in at 4.6 g for each bud, and features a waterproof rating of IPX4.
Keep in mind that the NC feature on the WF-C700N isn’t to be confused with the Active Noise Cancelling function that’s found on Sony’s high-end audio offerings such as the WF-1000XM4 or the LinkBuds S. Rather than utilising microphones to actively filter out noise, the former is more straightforward – simply blanketing them out through software means, which can be activated or deactivated at any time.
The new Sony WF-C700N is available now for RM 549, and is offered in four colours: White, Black, Sage Green and Lavender. Interested buyers can purchase the new earbuds via the brand’sAlong with the new earbuds, Sony also announced an all-new colour for its wireless headphones. Joining the existing White and Black models is the Midnight Blue option, which is available now for purchase for RM 1,799, which is the same retail price as the others.
