Cagayan de Oro Rep. Rufus Rodriguez assured the public that the controversial Charter change resolution will be exhaustively discussed in the Lower Chamber in February next year.
The chairman of the House committee on constitutional amendments said there will be “full discussion” on the unnumbered Resolution of Both Houses, which was approved by his panel in an executive session last week.
He said the Cha-cha resolution will be tackled in the plenary by first week of February to March before Congress goes on a break. He even insisted on the need for the Senate to tackle the Cha-cha resolution. “There are four proposals which I believe should be discussed in the Senate. I hope the senators, instead of saying it is doomed, and it is not a priority, should look at each proposal whether it is good for the country or not,” he said.
