A Minority congressman is pursuing the designation of the Caraga Regional Hospital (CRH) as a COVID-19 testing facility, saying Caraga or the Caraga Administrative Region needs it.
“I understand there is already a proposal submitted by the Caraga Regional Hospital to the Department of Health ,” Agusan del Norte 1st district Rep. Lawrence Fortun said.
According to Fortun, mass testing is imperative and an essential component of this is to immediately set up more testing and screening facilities in strategic locations around the country. Caraga or Region XIII is comprised of five provinces: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur; and six cities: Bayugan, Bislig, Butuan, Cabadbaran, Surigao and Tandag. Butuan in Agusan del Norte is the regional administrative center.
