Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports.During a home game on Oct. 2, centre back Kuskho led the Panthers' backline. The second-year science student from Russell, Ont., was instrumental in keeping UNB from generating scoring chances, resulting in a 0-0 stalemate.

"Roselyn is the rock of our defence,” said head coach Lewis Page. “She plays hard, tackles hard and puts fear in the opposition's forwards." MacKenzie, a second-year science student from Charlottetown, showed a willingness to fill whatever role was asked of him in Sunday’s game against UNB. The usual centre back started the game at striker and then shifted positions once more in the second half where he lined up at right back.

Page said MacKenzie may have changed positions three times throughout the game, but each time his competitive spirit and high work rate still shone through. It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
