One of the country's top diversified conglomerates is going all out to support the Philippines' hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
On Tuesday, San Miguel Corporation officially signed on as a major sponsor for this year's biggest basketball event, inking a historic partnership with FIBA and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas led by the MVP group of companies.
"I'm hoping also that this is not only for basketball because a lot of sports now here in the Philippines are doing well now so hopefully this is the start," he added. He added, the federation is focused on providing a memorable experience and showcasing Filipino hospitality when the world's 31 best basketball teams visit the country.
