OVER 1,000 students received scholarships from the SM Foundation in a ceremony held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, marking the largest batch of SM Foundation scholarship recipients to date.
SM Foundation Executive Director Linda Atayde highlighted education's role in opening youth and unlocking opportunities during the event on August 18.'Education is the foundation upon which dreams are built,' she said, emphasizing its importance for individual and national growth.Building on this vision, Scholarship Program Senior Assistant Vice President Eleanor Lansang detailed the foundation's support offered to scholars.
And now, here I am, proudly standing as an SM Foundation scholar. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my family, especially my parents, who stood by me throughout my academic journey. I am also profoundly grateful to God and to my guardian angels in heaven, particularly my cherished Mama Delia, who have always watched over me,' she said.
