SOUTH Korea said it looks forward to forging deeper ties with the Philippines as it congratulated President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. for winning the presidential election.The South Korean Embassy in Manila, in a statement on Monday, said its government congratulated Marcos 'on his election as the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines.
Canadian Ambassador to Manila Peter MacArthur on May 12 turned to Twitter to congratulate Filipinos 'for the extremely high turnout of voters, many of them young and for the first time, on the occasion of important national elections reflecting the vibrancy and strength of democracy across the archipelago.
