Sked for expired driver’s licenses release out this week, says LTO

The Land Transportation Office is set to release this week a new renewal schedule for expired driver’s licenses.

“We are no longer able to cater for the day-to-day consumption because we have a backlog of about 800,000 from May to June and we only have 1.1 million or 1.2 million cards left,” he added. Driver’s licenses that expired from May 1 to May 31, 2023, are eligible for renewal from November 1 to November 30, 2023, while licenses that expired from June 1 to June 30, 2023, can be renewed from December 1 to December 31, 2023.

For driver’s licenses that expired on September 1 and September 30, 2023, the schedule is from March 1 to March 31, 2024.
