CEBU CITY — The Sinulog Festival, one of the most celebrated cultural events in the Philippines, will return to its traditional venue at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) in 2025, after it was held at the South Road Properties (SRP) for the past two years.
CEBU CITY — The Sinulog Festival , one of the most celebrated cultural events in the Philippines, will return to its traditional venue at the Cebu City Sports Center in 2025, after it was held at the South Road Properties for the past two years.Acting Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia made the announcement during Cebu province's One Cebu Expo last week during his address before a crowd that included Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia and town and city mayors.
Garcia has prioritized early preparations for the Sinulog Festival and plans to convene stakeholders, including the Sinulog Foundation Inc., in the first week of September.The acting mayor emphasized the importance of starting preparations well in advance, given the extensive holiday season in December, which could disrupt logistical arrangements.
