MANILA - Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no.
2 was raised over northeastern Cagayan and Batanes Tuesday evening as tropical storm "Falcon" moved closer towards extreme northern Luzon, the state weather bureau said.
Falcon is expected to make landfall over the Babuyan-Batanes area on Wednesday afternoon or evening, according to the weather agency. Meanwhile, light to moderate with at times heavy rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, and the rest of Visayas, Central Luzon, and Mimaropa.
