The RCMP’s north district major crime unit is handling the case with help from Dawson Creek RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service. “Investigators are currently in the area looking for witnesses and collecting video or dash-cam footage,” said Sgt. Chris Manseau in a release on Tuesday.Anyone who was a witness or was near the intersection of Highway 97 and Arras Road from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday with dash-cam footage is asked to call police at 250-784-3700.
