Officers say the 29-year-old man was speeding and impaired when he crossed the centre line on Danforth Avenue and steered his BMW into traffic around 8:20 p.m. on Monday.Officers say the driver of the BMW then got out, leaving his injured 22-year-old passenger, and fled the scene.Police say next, the 29-year-old driver approached a father and child as they were getting out of a nearby parked car and punched the father in the back of the head while making a grab for the child.
An off-duty police officer and neighbours ran to their aid and the man allegedly backed away, dropping his pants and exposing himself. As police arrived on scene, they say the man punched an officer in the face before another officer shot the man with a stun gun and took him into custody.Ctrl+Enter
