MANILA, Philippines -- Filipino fans will be in for a treat when the WWE returns for a live show on September 20 at the Araneta Coliseum, guaranteed WWE superstar Sheamus.
The Irish star, a former world heavyweight champion and WWE champion, is in Manila to promote the WWE's return, three years since they last held a show here.
Sheamus said the event will be for fans from all walks of life -- from children to entire families to teenagers, all of whom connect with the WWE in one way or another. Advertised to appear on the show are Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan, who will contest the world heavyweight championship. There will also be a street fight between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre, as well as a SmackDown women's championship match between Bayley and Charlotte Flair.
