Two fast food restaurants in Muntinlupa will hire senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) as temporary workers as part of their corporate social responsibility. ManilaBulletin
During a public hearing by Majority Floor Leader Raul Corro, fast food restaurants Shakey’s Pizza and Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken agreed to hire a minimum of two senior citizens and PWDs.
Senior citizens will be assigned to work for a maximum of six hours a day for five days a week while PWDs will be allowed to work for up to eight hours a day for six days a week. PWDs may also be assigned to do housekeeping work such as sweeping, mopping, restrooms cleanup or cleaning the glass panels.
