— The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Friday that seven more Filipinos overseas have died of COVID-19, as the total number of Filipinos abroad with the coronavirus rises to 634.A total of 383 Filipinos abroad are undergoing treatment, while 172 have already recovered, the DFA said.

The foreign affairs department has recorded Filipino COVID-19 cases in a total of 39 countries or regions worldwide. These include 226 cases in Asia-Pacific Region, 78 cases in Middle East/Africa, 210 cases in Europe, and 120 cases in the Americas. Globally, there are over 1,605,500 people infected with the viral disease. Of this number, some 95,800 resulted in death, while over 356,100 patients have already recovered.
