Metro Vancouver has provided south-east Queensland mayors with key priorities for the next 10 years as south-east Queensland begins planning for the 2032 Games. While governments in Australia are still negotiating funding arrangements and what the Games legacy should be, Metro Vancouver’s $20 billion package includes 11 new bus lines, rail expansions on three lines, and 450 kilometres of separated bikeways.
