A 74-year-old man was recovered dead from a river in Quezon City after he and his house were swept away by a surging flood following a heavy downpour in Metro Manila on Friday .
Bayongos said that they launched a search and rescue operation when the latter was reported missing at about 2:05 p.m. after his house adjacent to a creek in Barangay Kamuning was drifted away by a current. Bayongos added that two more individuals, aged 39 and 42, were injured after sustaining multiple abrasions and laceration.
