At least 68,000 senior citizens in Parañaque City will start receiving their Christmas gift from the city government on Nov. 17, 2022, Mayor Eric Olivarez said on Monday.The cash distribution will end on Nov. 27, 2022.
The mayor said that those who are 60 to 74 years old will receive P500, those whose ages are 75 to 84 will receive P1,000, while those who are 85 years old and above will receive P2,500.Olivarez said that at least 200,000 residents will receive Christmas gift bags on Dec. 1 to 12, 2022.The distribution will be handled by district leaders in their respective gymnasiums in order to avoid overcrowding.Meanwhile, Olivarez said that job orders personnel will receive P5,000.
