Senator Sherwin Gatchalian said in a recent media forum in Manila that tracking down former workers of Guo Joanzhong, father of Bamban mayor Alice Guo, helped bolster the speculation that she may be a Chinese national.
Gatchalian said the workers told them that the young Guo then introduced to them Wen Yi as her biological mother. “They always travel as a couple. So again, based on my investigation and asking around plus the documents, my personal analysis is that Wen Yi is the biological mother of the mayor,” he said.
He said if there is an error, it is just one time and one birth certificate. This is constant information in four different birth certificates.
