Senator Raffy Tulfo has filed Resolution No. 1232, requesting the Senate to investigate the continued sale of unregistered vape products and devices through online marketplaces and social media platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok. The resolution addresses the violation of Republic Act 11967, the Internet Transactions Act of 2023.
Issues include the easy bypass of the 'verification' feature and the sale of these products to minors, as well as the selling of explicit items in violation of community guidelines
