The department said the P3.952 billion proposed budget is 48% lower than this year’s housing sector budget of P7.613 billion. He then asked support for a P36 billion interest subsidy every year to address the six million housing units backlog. This will lead to the creation of one million housing units per year.of six million units by constructing one million houses every year for six years.

“Maraming house cleaning at catchup na kailangan gawin. Please Secretary Acuzar and other DHSUD and key shelter agency officials, put the house in order. Paki-obligate lahat ng pondo na nanatiling unobligated at idisburse yung mga pondo na pwedeng idisburse,” she said.
