Bong Go said Filipinos should focus on collective action and not waste time on unnecessary discord during the National Peace Rally by Iglesia Ni Cristo on Monday.'Every hour and every minute wasted on disagreement costs our people dearly. I always say that serving the people is akin to serving God. Let us unite and work together to ensure no unhappy hours,' the senator said.
He called on national leaders to set aside their differences and concentrate on their mandate to serve the Filipino people, especially marginalized sectors.'The people elected our president and vice president, and they are expected to work for the nation's welfare over the next six years,' Go said.The senator said his presence in the rally should not be given political meaning.'The Iglesia Ni Cristo peace rally is not only for its members but for all Filipinos who want peace.
