SELECTED personnel of the Marine Battalion Landing Team-1 have completed the Squad Designated Marksmanship Training, a specialized course that hones skilled riflemen into precision shooters.The training, which culminated on Tuesday, June 10, was held at Naval Station Rio Hondo that houses the MBLT-1 headquarters in Rio Hondo village, Zamboanga City.
Captain Larry Cendaña, Zamboanga Coast Guard Station commander, the guest of honor and speaker of the training’s graduation underscored in his remarks the critical role of marksmanship in modern warfare.Cendaña commended the graduates for their commitment, as well as the instructors for their exceptional professionalism throughout the training.
