The Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society invited hundreds to the United Baptist Church as their annual event brought together farms, seed suppliers, and plant educators from across the district
Members and volunteers with the Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society are at United Baptist Church today for their annual Seedy Saturday.
SSM Horticultural Society president Andrea Aubertin says this is the first Seedy Saturday they’ve hosted since the onset of the pandemic, and they’re excited to finally be back in person. Local seed suppliers included New North Greenhouses and Superior Gardener, and out-of-town seed suppliers were Three Forks Farms, Northern Wildflowers, and UrbanTomato.
The Soup Witch provided attendees with lunch, and children also got in on the fun with a variety of activities.
