Opposition Senator Risa Hontiveros on Tuesday vowed that they will not stop searching for the truth on the sugar fiasco even with the resignation of Atty. Victor Rodriguez as the executive secretary.
In a statement, Hontiveros said Rodriguez still has obligations to the Senate blue ribbon committee particularly the minutes of the virtual meeting where the importation of"Hindi matatakasan ni Atty. Vic Rodriguez ang katotohanan, kahit saan pang posisyon ng gobyerno siya pumunta. 'Wag niyang gawing Trip to Jerusalem ang government service dahil lang tinutugis siya ng kanyang konsensya," the senator said.
Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles is also yet to comment on the matter when asked about the lawmaker's statement.
