MANILA -- Hero surfer Roger Casogay is set to receive the Order of Lapu-Lapu award after he helped an Indonesian competitor in a Southeast Asian Games surfing event, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go said Tuesday.

“That moment is the epitome of the official slogan of the 30th Southeast Asian Games: We Win As One,” the senator said as he sponsored a resolution commending the La Union-born surfer.Other senators, including Nancy Binay, Joel Villanueva and Richard Gordon, also lauded Casogay’s heroism.
