SEAGames2019: Another Amit-Centeno final, as women’s 10-ball title match set
MANILA, Philippines—Chezka Centeno and Rubilen Amit guaranteed another 1-2 finish for the Philippines after they advanced to the 10-ball singles finals in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Manila Hotel Tent Friday.
Amit beat Myanmar’s Thandar Maung 7-2, while Centeno overcame Myanmar’s Aung A Mi 7-4 in the other pairing. Amit, a former 10-ball world champion, built an early 3-0 lead, saw her Burmese opponent trim the deficit to one rack, before winning the last four frames to seal the win.Amit and Centeno are also seeking a 1-2 finish in 9-ball singles, much like they did in Kuala Lumpur in 2017.
