With all the achievements coming in one after another, it’s not too hard to think that Scottie Thompson is now reaching the peak of his career.
The charismatic Barangay Ginebra guard has already won seven titles in the PBA on top of his two Finals MVP crown, two Best Player of the Conference awards, and most importantly, one season MVP plum. He also got his jersey retired by his beloved Alma Mater, University of Perpetual Help and was voted by fans as the FIBA Player of the Year.
“Well, truly honored and sobrang thankful sa mga friends namin na nandito lahat and siyempre kay God sa binigay niyang award na ito syempre without him this would not be possible so thankful and really honored,” said Thompson who, for the meantime, set his Gilas Pilipinas and Ginebra jerseys aside for a formal attire.
