New season of scientific balloon launches start in Timmins
This morning , the seventh campaign at the Timmins Stratospheric Balloon Base launched with the first of four zero-pressure balloons being released from the facility at the Victor M. Power Airport.
While today's balloon was let go during the day at the request of the scientists, most are released overnight.
