In ruling in favor of Dohle, the court said the 120-day period began on July 28, 2014, when the company submitted the additional documents.The court said its ruling allows taxpayers the flexibility to determine when their submission is complete, and that they are not restricted by arbitrary deadlines imposed by the BIR.
