KANOWIT, March 25 — An allocation of RM1.5 billion from the Rascom Development Agency for developments in Kanowit and Selangau has been approved by the Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg, said National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang.“The allocation has been approved by our Premier to improve the infrastructure in the districts of Kanowit and Selangau.
He said that while it was still early for the project, several labs have been held to explain on the Rasda project. “It has been reported that there have been five deaths due to rabies during 2022-2023 in Kanowit alone. This is of great concern as if it is not contained, it may result in many more deaths.
A total of 538 participants comprising Penghulus, Pemanchas, Tuai Rumahs and community leaders participated in the campaign.
